Happy Easter!

Posted by Picasa
With all that promise of chocolate is it any wonder that Easter is my favorite holiday?!
The most delectable Easter treat of all? Lindt Gold Bunnies, of course!

We ♥ Polka Dots!

Polka dots: they're so much fun and to me they just scream "Springtime!"
This year our closets seem to be full of them!
Check out mini Boden for the most beautifully designed and practically indestructable kid's clothes... (plus some pretty cute things for Mom too!)
Here's a 12% off coupon to get you started ;)
Yes! I am an enabler......

First Ballet Recital

Tuesday afternoons are the most exciting time of the week at our house. That's when Olivia attends ballet lessons with Miss Beverly at the Orlando Ballet School.

Her first year of "Dress Up and Dance" is almost drawing to a close and this week the little ballerinas had a chance to try on their new pink recital costumes. Here's Olivia's friend Kate looking very gorgeous in hers!

Afternoon light ...

... is the absolute best time for picture taking! And all that nice new spring growth in the garden helps too!

Glorious natural light!

We spent the past week in South Florida. D had to go to work while we got to play by the pool all day!
I love this hotel - it has huge plate glass windows that let in the most beautiful light for taking photos.! Is it bad to choose your hotel on that basis only??

A free spirit.

I love the way children are so full of joy and self confidence. This child will dance anywhere, anytime, just on a whim!
Pure joy for a mother to watch.

Don't you love this amazing mosaic wall as a backdrop? It was just a stroke of luck that her dress happened to match!
